Celestial AI's Photonic Fabric

Celestial AI, a company developing optical interconnect technology, announced the final close of its Series C1 funding round at $255 million on Aug. 13, 2025. The round included new strategic investors VentureTech Alliance and Samsung Catalyst Fund, bringing the company's total funding to $520 million.

The capital will be used to accelerate the commercial deployment of its Photonic Fabric technology. This platform uses light to move data between chips, aiming to overcome the physical limitations and data movement bottlenecks of traditional copper wiring in AI data centers.
