A New Open Platform

The Allen Institute for AI (Ai2), a Seattle-based nonprofit, announced a new platform called OlmoEarth. The system is an open, end-to-end platform that uses artificial intelligence to analyze current and historical satellite and sensor data for climate and conservation research.

OlmoEarth runs on a new family of AI models trained by Ai2 on 10 terabytes of Earth observations. The system includes two main components : - OlmoEarth Studio: A workspace for building and fine-tuning datasets and models. - OlmoEarth Viewer: A web application for exploring AI-generated maps.
