Global IT services firm Cognizant (NASDAQ: CTSH) announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire 3Cloud, a leading provider of services for the Microsoft Azure platform. The acquisition is a strategic move to bolster Cognizant's capacity to deploy enterprise AI solutions.
3Cloud, a portfolio company of Gryphon Investors, is one of the largest independent partners in the Azure ecosystem. The deal will bring over 1,000 Azure-certified specialists and engineers under Cognizant's umbrella.
