CoreWeave Launches AI Object Storage with No Egress Fees
The new managed service is purpose-built for AI workloads and claims to lower storage costs by more than 75% for typical users.
A New Storage Model for AI
CoreWeave, a specialized cloud provider for artificial intelligence, launched its AI Object Storage service. The company said the fully managed service is built specifically for AI workloads and introduces a new pricing model that eliminates egress charges and request fees, which are common costs associated with moving data out of cloud environments.
"We've built a system where data is no longer confined by geography or cloud boundaries, giving developers the freedom to innovate without friction or hidden costs," said Peter Salanki, co-founder and chief technology officer at CoreWeave.
