Google on Oct. 8, 2025, launched a dedicated AI Vulnerability Reward Program (VRP), offering security researchers up to $20,000 for reporting qualifying security flaws in its artificial intelligence products. The program professionalizes the search for AI vulnerabilities, creating a financially incentivized ecosystem for white-hat hackers to find and report flaws before they are exploited by malicious actors.
The new VRP builds on a 2023 extension to the company's Abuse VRP, under which bug hunters have already earned more than $430,000 for AI-related vulnerability reports.
