Google to Invest $15 Billion in India for New AI Hub
The five-year investment will establish a gigawatt-scale data center and a new international subsea cable gateway in Visakhapatnam.

Google announced its largest-ever investment in India, committing $15 billion over the next five years to establish a major artificial intelligence hub. The investment, which will run from 2026 to 2030, will be centered in the port city of Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. The project is designed to build out powerful AI infrastructure, including data center capacity and an expanded fiber-optic network.
