Paris-based Mistral AI announced on September 9, 2025, that it has raised €1.7 billion in a Series C funding round, bringing its post-money valuation to €11.7 billion. The round was led by ASML Holding NV, a leading manufacturer of semiconductor production equipment. ASML made a strategic investment of €1.3 billion for an approximately 11% stake in the company.
