MIT Lincoln Lab Unveils TX-GAIN AI Supercomputer

A New Research Powerhouse
MIT's Lincoln Laboratory on Oct. 2, 2025, announced the launch of TX-GAIN (TX-Generative AI Next), which it described as the most powerful artificial intelligence supercomputer at any U.S. university. The system is designed to accelerate AI research in areas critical to national security, including biodefense, materials discovery, and cybersecurity.
