Generative AI has officially moved from an experimental tool to a part of the production pipeline at the world's largest streamer. During its Q2 2025 earnings call, Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos confirmed the company has used generative AI to create final visual effects (VFX) footage for its Argentine sci-fi series, El Eternauta.
