NVIDIA Invests $2 Billion in Synopsys to Accelerate Chip Design

NVIDIA and Synopsys announced a multi-year strategic partnership on Dec. 1, 2025, underpinned by a $2 billion equity investment by NVIDIA in the chip design software maker. The deal integrates NVIDIA’s accelerated computing hardware with Synopsys’ Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools to deploy "agentic AI" engineering workflows.
