NVIDIA announced major collaborations with Samsung and Hyundai Motor Group to build "AI Factories" that embed artificial intelligence into industrial manufacturing processes.

Transforming Semiconductor Production

NVIDIA and Samsung Electronics announced plans to build an AI factory for semiconductor manufacturing. The facility will use more than 50,000 NVIDIA GPUs to integrate AI throughout the chipmaking process. A key component is the NVIDIA Omniverse platform, which Samsung will use to create "digital twins," or physically accurate virtual replicas, of its global fabrication plants. This allows the company to simulate and optimize production workflows in a virtual environment before applying them to the physical world. Samsung stated this approach has already yielded 20x performance gains in computational lithography simulations.
