OpenAI on Sep 26, 2025, began rolling out "Pulse," a new feature for its ChatGPT application that functions as a proactive assistant. The feature operates asynchronously overnight to generate personalized morning reports for users. According to OpenAI, Pulse synthesizes information from a user's chat history, enabled memory, and connected applications like Google Calendar and Gmail to deliver five to ten daily briefs.
The feature is initially available to subscribers of the company's $200 per month Pro plan. Access for Plus users is planned for a later date.
