Snowflake announced a multi-year strategic partnership with Anthropic on Wednesday, involving a $200 million commitment to integrate Anthropic's Claude AI models into the Snowflake platform. The alliance aims to solve the "data gravity" problem for enterprise AI by allowing customers to run advanced reasoning models directly where their data resides, rather than exporting sensitive information to external APIs.
